Mob of the Dead Overview
Mob of the Dead recreates the Call of Duty: Black Ops II Alcatraz map with Afterlife mode, plane buildable, Golden Gate Bridge Pack-a-Punch, and Brutus mini-boss. The primary objective is escaping the prison by building a plane and flying to the bridge where PaP awaits. 100% XP multiplier with high replay value.
Afterlife Mode
When downed or activated deliberately, players enter Afterlife as a spirit with limited time. In Afterlife you can activate power switches, open Afterlife-only doors, and shock generators inaccessible in normal mode. Solo players rely heavily on Afterlife for progression. Co-op coordinates activations across players.
Plane Buildable
Collect five plane parts scattered across Alcatraz: Engine, Propeller, Rudder, Wings, and Fuel Tank. Parts spawn in fixed locations requiring Afterlife access for some. Build the plane on the roof, then fly to Golden Gate Bridge. Full walkthrough in our Mob PaP guide.
Pack-a-Punch on the Bridge
PaP exists exclusively on the Golden Gate Bridge — not in the prison. Fly the plane to the bridge, Pack-a-Punch for 5000 points, then use electric chairs to return to the prison with weapons intact. Wait one full round before returning to the bridge again.
Brutus Boss
Brutus spawns periodically as a mini-boss with high health. Appears more frequently on the Golden Gate Bridge. Ray Gun or PaP LMG recommended. Brutus disables Perk-a-Cola machines temporarily when nearby — plan perk purchases around his spawns.
